Unlike most RFID modules that are hardwired for SPI communication, the PN532 is an NFC RFID module clocked at 13.56MHz that offers the flexibility to switch between I2C, SPI, and TTL Serial communication modes using an onboard switch. It also features an integrated logic level shifter, enabling compatibility with both 3.3V and 5V power supplies.
