The WeMos D1 is an Arduino-compatible development board that uses the ESP8266 microcontroller. Designed in the format of an Arduino UNO board, it’s also compatible with both the Arduino IDE and NodeMCU. This board boasts 11 GPIO pins, which can function as digital input/output, support interrupts, PWM, I2C, and one-wire communication (except for D0). Additionally, it provides one analog input, has a micro USB connection, a power jack for input ranging from 9V to 24V, and runs at an operating voltage of 3.3V.
