The Arduino Pro Mini 328 – 5V 16MHz is a compact microcontroller board utilizing the ATmega328 chip. It boasts 14 digital input/output pins (with 6 of them supporting PWM), 6 analog inputs, an onboard resonator, a reset button, and provisions for attaching pin headers.
This board can be directly connected to the FTDI Basic Breakout board, facilitating auto-reset functionality. It’s also compatible with the FTDI cable, although it doesn’t expose the DTR pin required for auto-reset. An onboard voltage regulator allows it to handle voltages up to 12VDC. When providing unregulated power, ensure you connect to the “RAW” pin, not VCC.
The latest version of this board has additional features, including the breakout of ADC6 and ADC7 pins and options for I2C pull-up resistors.
Please note that a USB to Serial Converter is necessary for programming the Arduino Pro Mini.
